Everything was delicious. The sushi was very fresh, squid was tender and well seasoned, veggies had good flavor, steak was tender as well, the soup was so yummy and my son ordered a bowl after trying mine. It was nice to dine outside on this charming street enjoying the breeze. Occasionally a car will drive by but it's not often.

This is my second evening in Ponta Delgada, and once again, I found myself at PataNisca for dinner. This restaurant is an excellent place to experience local cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection to choose from. The service was outstanding-friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was so inviting that I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ponta Delgada!

Very tasty! The squid was tender and the sweet potato was amazing. I've asked and they said it was a local one, a new taste for me. Nice. I was quite early (around 6pm) but hungry and the staff was very friendly. Can recommend it if you like good value for money and honest food and people. Thanks for the good meal :)

We were looking for a local restaurant and here we are. Not overpriced food with many choices. Happy to eat fresh fish and another unique tastes! The menu offers everything what you would look for and also various alcohol selection. Waiting time was okay, even if the restaurant was full on Sunday noon. The staff was friendly and very professional - dealing great with many guests inside. My partner really enjoyed veal steak - was exactly as he expected! After a great dinner we decided for a desert and pineapple mouse was delicious too. Very natural and fresh. Visit this place if you would like to try great tastes from Azores :) I highly recommend! Ps. I did pictures before side dishes arrived. We also received salad and fries.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. On the menu were names of the sushi with no description, so I asked my waitress what was in the hot sushi option and she said she didn’t like sushi and didn’t know. I ordered it anyway and was not disappointed. It was sooooo good. Highly recommend ordering the hot sushi! I also had the ceviche which was really good, but if I went back I’d order something else.

Had the Tuna on point with sweet potatoe! Spotless! Amazing atmosphere and the beer is also cool! Highlight of the place was the service of Dinesh, best service i had on the island by far! Super kind and professional!

We really enjoyed the cod cakes (Pataniscas de Bacalhau). Coupled with bread and quiejo fresco, the cod cakes made for a great mid afternoon refreshment. Sipping a couple of beers and sitting on the covered patio (behind the restaurant) contributed to a good experience as well. January 12, 2025 C & J
